    The Kentix MulitSensor mainapplication is room and system monitoring with 4-factor early fire detection. Which sensor version (40° or 90°) you choose depends largely on the mounting height and the application.

    The 90° sensor is the right solution for 75% of all applications in the area of room and system monitoring. For the monitoring of sections the 40° sensor is the right choice.

    4-Factor Early Fire Detection

    The MultiSensor-TI is the latest MultiSensor technology with integrated thermal image sensor for monitoring critical plant conditions and early fire detection.
    Compared to thermal cameras, the sensor has the advantage that it is data protection compliant and links additional sensors with the thermal evaluation. For early fire detection, this means that up to four factors (thermal image, CO, air quality, room temperature) are evaluated for reliable detection.

    Eine Erfolgsgeschichte: Multisensor verhindert teuren Feuerschaden bei Paket24 (Artelia)

    Der Multisensor hat uns vor einem wohl größeren Schaden und Ausfall bewahrt. Er hatte frühzeitig Zellen in einer USV erkannt, die sich gefährlich aufgeheizt hatten, und Alarm ausgelöst. Als wir nachschauten, sah zunächst alles normal aus – erst bei der Inspizierung der Rückseite wurde der Grund für den Alarm klar. Wäre dieses Problem unentdeckt geblieben, hätte das einen folgenschweren Brand nach sich ziehen können. Doch der CO2-Sensor am Kentix-Multisensor hat die Veränderung des Kohlenstoffdioxid-Wertes frühzeitig erkannt, bevor es zu jeglichem Schaden kam.
