Monitored threats
Kentix SmartMonitoring solutions integrate a large number of individual sensors into compact functional units known as multi-sensors. In contrast to conventional systems, this means that only very few components are required. A starter set with one MultiSensor already monitors a server room for more than 30 hazards and increases security and availability enormously. Depending on the device type, the components are networked via radio or Ethernet (PoE). Kentix systems always integrate into the existing IT infrastructure.
The StarterSets can be expanded at any time with additional MultiSensors, whether wireless or Ethernet or as hybrid sensors with wireless Ethernet. The system topology can be divided and managed in buildings/rooms or zones. There are hardly any system limits here. In addition, the StarterSets can also be expanded with SmartAccess components. Independent alarm protection according to zones thus becomes child's play.

Water leakage detection
The leakage sensor is connected to the systemport (SYSPORT) of a Kentix device and continuously records the conductivity via several electrodes. The connection is made via a standard patch cable and can thus also be easily "patched" into existing cabling. The leakage sensor ROPE also has a sensor cable whose integrated sensors detect water ingress at an early stage along the entire length of the ROPE cable. The leakage sensor can be cascaded up to 5 times and is therefore also suitable for large rooms.APP-NOTE #1
Server room up to 20 m²
Basic protection monitoring of a typical mid-market server room with multiple server racks, UPS system and air conditioning.
OpenAPP-NOTE #2
Server room up to 20 m² and backup room up to 20 m²
Basic protection monitoring of a typical medium-sized server room with several server racks, UPS system and air conditioning. In addition, there is another room with backup systems, UPS systems or further remote technology.
OpenAPP-NOTE #3
Distributed infrastructure - Multiple IT rooms spread across sites
IT rooms are distributed over several locations. At each site, there are one or more rooms with server racks, infrastructure and other technology that are to be fully monitored.
