Kentix DoorLock network wall reader

Wall reader for indoor and outdoor use with network connection and PoE

With Kentix DoorLock® wall readers, you can control access to buildings and rooms easily, conveniently and securely using an RFID card or PIN code. Two-factor authentication is possible. The control unit is the AccessManager. It can control up to two readers and doors. Any number of AccessManagers can be networked with a SiteManager. This makes it easy to realise access systems of any size.
The PoE splitter integrated in the AccessManager enables direct control of motorised locks or electric strikes with 24VDC. This means that the door control unit can be equipped with a UPS emergency power supply via the PoE-capable network switch with little effort. The AccessManager is ideal for replacing existing access systems without changing the existing cabling.

TECH-INFO

The DoorLock-WA3 IP wall reader enables access control via RFID medium or alternatively via PIN entry. Two-factor authentication is possible. The arming/disarming of an alarm zone can also be carried out via this. The AccessManager (SmartRelay) forms the central unit with network connection and PoE supply. The administration takes place centrally via the integrated web server of the AccessManager or a central SiteManager. The SmartRelay communicates with the wall reader via a bus cable connection of up to 600m in length. The wall reader can be easily mounted in the switch box or with surface-mounted housing. With the integrated PoE splitter of the SmartRelay, the door lock or the door opener can be supplied with 24VDC directly from the reader module, additional cables for power supply are not required. Due to the IP54 protection class, the reader can also be installed in protected outdoor areas.

The DoorLock-WA6 wall reader is suitable as an extra narrow reader for door frames or in the data center for cage enclosures. It features a full PIN keypad for one or two-factor authentication. Additionally, sharp-blurred keys are integerated for zone operation with KentixONE.

The DoorLock-WA2 IP wall reader is designed for flush mounting in standard switch boxes (60 mm). The reading area of 55x55 mm corresponds to the switch standard. Thus, most standard covers can be used in this size. The reader is also often used for installation in intercom or door systems.

Access via Smartphone & Co

The heart of a modern electronic locking system is the integrated software. This gives you full control at all times - whether you need to manage access for one door or worldwide distributed properties.

With KentixOS, doors, gates or server cabinets equipped with an electronic locking system from Kentix can be easily controlled: via app with your cell phone or smartwatch.

Particularly practical: You don't have to search for the desired door on the display first - no, it is automatically displayed when you are in its immediate vicinity. One touch on the cell phone and the door opens - it even works when you're sitting in your car in front of the barrier to the parking lot.
